Scuba Diving Regions in Singapore
From world-class walls to muck diving havens, discover the unique character of each regional cluster.
Regional Diversity
Diving in Singapore is possible year-round, as the water temperature remains consistently warm between 27°C and 30°C. However, the best underwater visibility is typically found during the inter-monsoon periods, particularly from March to May and from September to November. During these months, the seas are generally calmest and the natural sedimentation is reduced. The monsoon seasons (December-February and June-August) can bring higher rainfall and more variable conditions, but most sheltered sites remain dived regularly by the passionate local community.
Planning Tips
Many regions are seasonally dependent. For Singapore, the best diving conditions are usually spread across different months depending on the archipelago or coast.
