Beyond the whales, the diving is exceptional, featuring dramatic underwater caves, tunnels, and deep-water arches, especially in the Vavaʻu group. The Haʻapai group offers pristine, untouched reefs and a sense of remote exploration. Tongan waters provide exceptional visibility frequently exceeding 30 meters and a wealth of marine life including reef sharks, eagle rays, and diverse tropical fish. Diving in Tonga is laid-back and intimate, with small groups and a focus on personalized service.
