Beqa Lagoon and Pacific Harbour represent one of the most exciting diving destinations in the South Pacific, combining world-class shark encounters with pristine coral reefs and dramatic drift dives. The Shark Reef Marine Reserve has become a global benchmark for sustainable shark tourism, transforming what was once a depleted fishing area into a thriving marine sanctuary. Divers can expect to see bull sharks, tiger sharks, sicklefin lemon sharks, grey reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, blacktip reef sharks, tawny nurse sharks, and occasionally hammerheads and oceanic whitetips, all in a single dive. Beyond the sharks, the Beqa Passage offers exhilarating drift dives with large pelagics, while the lagoon itself is home to spectacular soft coral gardens, frogfish, ghost pipefish, and abundant reef fish. Three wrecks add variety, including the Tui Tai schooner and the Pacific Voyager freighter. Pacific Harbour provides excellent infrastructure with multiple dive operators, restaurants, and accommodation options ranging from budget to luxury. The area is easily accessible from Nadi by road, making it a convenient addition to any Fijian diving itinerary.

International flights arrive at Nadi International Airport (NAN) on Viti Levu, with connections from Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and across the Pacific. Fiji Airways is the national carrier. Domestic flights with Fiji Link connect to Taveuni, Kadavu, Vanua Levu, and the outer islands. Seaplane services reach remote resorts and the Lau Group.
