Scuba Diving Regions in Sudan

From world-class walls to muck diving havens, discover the unique character of each regional cluster.

    Regional Diversity

The best time to dive in Sudan is from late October to May. This period avoids the extreme heat of the Sudanese summer and offers the best sea conditions. Shark sightings, particularly Hammerheads, are most reliable from January to April when the water is slightly cooler (24-26°C). Visibility is consistently high year-round, often exceeding 30 meters.

Many regions are seasonally dependent. For Sudan, the best diving conditions are usually spread across different months depending on the archipelago or coast.
