Scuba Diving Regions in Jordan
From world-class walls to muck diving havens, discover the unique character of each regional cluster.
Regional Diversity
Diving in Jordan is possible year-round, but the best conditions are typically found from April to October. During these months, the water temperature is at its warmest, ranging between 24°C and 28°C, and the visibility is consistently excellent, often exceeding 30 meters. The winter months (December to March) are cooler, with water temperatures dropping to around 20-21°C, but visibility remains very good. Whale sharks are most commonly spotted between June and August during their seasonal migration.
Planning Tips
Many regions are seasonally dependent. For Jordan, the best diving conditions are usually spread across different months depending on the archipelago or coast.
