Scuba Diving Regions in Vietnam
From world-class walls to muck diving havens, discover the unique character of each regional cluster.
Regional Diversity
The best time to dive in Vietnam depends on the region. For Nha Trang and the central coast, the peak season is from March to August when the water is calmest and visibility is at its best. Con Dao is ideally visited from March to June for the best sea conditions. Phu Quoc, located in the Gulf of Thailand, is best from November to April, offering a great alternative during the central coast's monsoon season. Water temperatures are generally warm, ranging from 24°C in winter to 30°C in summer.
Planning Tips
Many regions are seasonally dependent. For Vietnam, the best diving conditions are usually spread across different months depending on the archipelago or coast.
