Regional Diversity
The main diving season in Greece runs from May to October. During these months, the air is hot and the sea temperature is most comfortable, ranging from 20°C to 26°C. July and August are the peak summer months with the warmest water, while June and September offer the best balance of excellent weather and fewer crowds. Diving is possible in the winter for those with drysuits, though many island dive shops close for the season.
