Regional Diversity
The main diving season in Italy runs from May to October. During these months, the air is warm and the sea temperature is most comfortable, ranging from 18°C to 26°C. July and August are the peak summer months with the warmest water, while June and September offer the best balance of excellent weather and fewer crowds. Diving is possible in the winter with a drysuit, particularly around Sicily where conditions remain mild.
